Family night

We went out for dinner to our favorite Mexican restaurant. The kids love the chips and salsa, but this evening, Kaitlyn decided to forget the 'dipping' with her chips and started drinking the salsa from her bowl. It was hilarious! Her face and arms were covered in it by the time she was done!
Oh, and why is she wearing her night gown to the restaurant? Because she decided to have a blow out in her diaper as we pulled into the parking lot, and it's all we had in the line of clean clothes for her. This particular day she was determined to make a complete mess of herself every chance she got. By the time we got home, she had soaked through her diaper and clothes, and had to be completely changed again. This was after she threw up all over herself and me in the morning, because she got to playing a little too hard right after she ate breakfast. Never a dull moment with this child, I tell ya!

After dinner, we waltzed next door to Starbucks.
The kids found some books to read while we attempted to relax and refuel.

Kaitlyn loves coffee. Yes, she comes by it honestly. No, we don't put it in her sippy cup.
We give her tiny sips every now and then, but if she sees an unguarded cup... watch out! She'll try and snag it!
