Sick dryer

The belt on our dryer snapped.  This is not a good thing when you are already a little behind on laundry, and there are six people living in your house.  I called for a repair man, and they said they could get someone out to fix it sometime in September or October.  Excuse me? I think we will get the part and fix it ourselves, thank you very much!  Well, as it turns out, no one in Minot, North Dakota carries the belt for my dryer, so we had to order it online.

The belt took about a week to come in, but we watched a little YouTube tutorial, and got it working perfectly. I am so excited to have a functioning dryer again.

Anthony suggested we go into the appliance repair business. I think I'll pass.

New Dishes

I have wanted these dishes for a really long time, but couldn't justify buying them. So, for Christmas, Anthony was going to get them for me.  I told them I would rather wait until after we moved and were settled in a house, so we didn't have to cart them across the country and risk them getting broken.  Well, we are in our new house, and I was finally able to order them.

We are homeowners!

Well, it's official....

we are homeowners again! We signed the papers on our house on Tuesday and got the keys. (Pictures to come eventually!)

And today we made our first trip to The Home Depot. I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be a lot of time and money spent there.

Time to set up our new home in Minot, North Dakota!
