Hats and crazy hair

My blue-eyed girl loves her hats.  She'll put one on, wear it for a while, then run upstairs and dig another one out from who knows where. Perhaps her favorite time to don a hat, is right after I've done her hair, and we are getting ready to go somewhere.  Such a crazy little munchkin!
Nothing like some great morning hair!
Oh look.... she dug up another hat!

Nolan and Nat dining

Nolan and Natalie 'dining out'.  It was super cute to listen to them chat while they 'ate'.  They started getting goofy when they realized they were being watched.

Bible Reading

The kids decided it was time to do their morning Bible reading.  (Not that the younger three even know how to read, but it's always fun to be involved!)

Feeding the monkeys

My little monkeys eating their bananas. It's amazing how many bananas we go through!
Natalie doesn't like hers to be cut up into pieces anymore.  She wants to eat hers like the big kids!

After-bath, after-math

Natalie loves her baths, and she always looks like a wild girl when she gets out and her hair is everywhere!
What a goof!

Destructive storm

We had a huge storm on Saturday night, and lightning struck a house in our subdivision.  It caught on fire, and it took the fire department over 2 hours to put it out.  Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the house was completely destroyed!
I was at work when it happened, but Anthony said it was extremely loud, and it shook the whole house.  It scared the kids quite a bit!  After church we went to assess the damage.
We are so thankful for God's protection over our house!
I've always enjoyed a good thunderstorm, but I must say, I have quite a bit more respect for them now!

Katie and Nani

Kaitlyn loves Nani- my parents' teacup poodle.
I love this picture that my sister took of them.

Mother's Day

God has blessed me with four beautiful, healthy children.  Each one of them has their own crazy, quirky, lovable traits, that make them special.  I'm so thankful for the blessing that they are to me, and couldn't imagine my life without them!

Back seat fun

The kids love having the windows down, singing at the top of their lungs, and acting crazy in the car.

District Conference

We got to go to District Conference in LaGrande, Oregon, this past weekend.  We had a great time!  The services were incredible, the kids loved meeting some new friends, and we were excited to get to spend some time with some old friends!
It was busy, and we were going constantly, but these are a couple of the pictures I snapped throughout the trip.

On the road. Playing DS, and trying to stay entertained in the car.
They did really well, and kept good attitudes with the long ride!
The two littlest monkeys during service.  Cute as ever!
(The older two kids sat with Granny)
Loved getting to spend time with my good friend, Kristin Neff!
A whole lot of play, and not enough sleep.  We had the lights on, the kids were playing in the room, and Natalie was out to the world!
On the way home, Natalie started out playing Peek-a-boo, and it quickly turned into nap time!
The weather was beautiful, and I have always enjoyed the drive through the Columbia Gorge.
So glad we were able to go to Conference.  We came home tired, and yet so refreshed.  God is so good!
