Ice Skating Party

For Jessica's 12th birthday, she had a party at the Maysa Arena, and the kids got to go ice skating. They had a blast! I had to work, so I got there at the very end to watch. They did really well...especially for their first time.
They had bars for the kids to push around to help them keep their balance.
The birthday girl. She was moving so fast all of the time, that I had a hard time getting a picture that wasn't blurry.

Kaitlyn was getting off the ice as I got there, so I didn't get any pictures of her. She was cold, and got a big blister on her leg from the skates rubbing, but I'm told she did really good!

Nattie and Tinsley

Natalie and her friend, Tinsley.
Tinsley found Kaitlyn's shoes. She was quite proud of her discovery!

Family Night Out

We have a little diner in town that we like to visit, called Kroll's.  On Mondays, they have milkshakes 'buy one get one free'.  We went out for milkshakes last night, after I got off work. (Pardon the lighting, they have red fluorescent lights that go around the inside.  It makes pictures have a red effect.)
Good to the last drop!
Just bein' goofy!

Ladies' Spring Tea

On Saturday, we had the annual Ladies' Spring Tea at the church.  It was neat to see the different table themes and decorations.
There was TONS of fabulous food!

It was cute to see all the young girls at their table.  Kaitlyn was sad that she's not quite old enough to participate, but is eagerly anticipating turning 8.
Danyel and Misty.  These girls are a hoot, and it's been so fun getting to know them.
Some of the kitchen crew.
Sis. Crissy thought she could hide behind the camera.  Wrong!
The MC, Sis. Rachel Williams.  One of the sweetest girls ever.
A short devotional by our pastor's wife.
We had a great time laughing and visiting at our table, and it was fun getting to know some of the ladies better.

UNO

Uncle Jesse, Aunt Ruth, and Jessica came over this morning, and we all had a big breakfast together, then Aunt Ruth and Jessica played a game of UNO with the kids.
(Pardon all of the boxes, we are still trying to get moved in.  We are staying with Anthony's parents right now, until we find a house.)

Sick Days

Our immune systems are trying to get used to our new environment.  We have all been fighting a respiratory bug. I don't know the last time the whole family was so sick. It's been miserable!

First Sunday at AFC

We all have been excited, and anticipating our first Sunday at Apostolic Faith Church.  I must say, it was a bit crazy trying to locate enough matching clothes for all of us to wear... things are still a bit jumbled and misplaced.
The older kids loved their Sunday School classes.  The younger two were a little intimidated by all of the new people, but I'm sure they will warm up very fast.  There are tons of kids!

Jared somehow manages to blink almost every time I take a picture of him.  I still liked this picture of  him and Anthony, so I wanted to share it.
We had an awesome Sunday service.  We have already met so many new people, they have made us feel so welcome and at home, and I am reminded, once again, how terrible I am at remembering names.
Revival is happening at Minot AFC, and we are excited to get to be a part of it!
