Talon learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. That was one of my big goals for this summer!
Their pediatrician suggested making a balance bike for the kids (by taking the pedals off of their toddler bike), to help them learn balance. It worked great! Talon took off right away! It's really handy that we live in a cul-de-sac, too.
Kaitlyn is still trying to figure it out. She wants to learn so badly. I'm sure she could do it, but she's really scared of falling down or crashing into something, so she leans to one side most of the time. My goal is still to get her riding without her training wheels before summer is over.
Nolan has no desire to take off his training wheels at this point, which is fine. His bike is just a bit big for him anyway- his feet barely touch the ground. He's just happy to have a 'big-boy bike', and still enjoys driving around in his car. We'll get there eventually.
Natalie likes the trike, but is more excited to be out on the street with her car. I love how adorable she is in her bike helmet!
She thinks she's a pretty hip motorist at this point!
All four munchkins, in their helmets, ready to ride.
