Talon and Kaitlyn's Baptism

Yesterday, Talon and Kaitlyn both received the Holy Ghost, and were baptized in Jesus' Name for the remission of their sins.  What an awesome day! I wish I could have gotten a picture of them praying, but there was too much excitement going on. I was given a few pictures of them getting baptized, though.

All that excitement can wear on a person. Natalie was out cold by the end of service!

Acts 2:38-39

I'm so thankful for truth that we can pass down to the next generations!

New church parking lot

The guys are getting ready to pour the cement for our new church parking lot. It's so awesome to see all the progress.

New suit

Talon was super excited to try on his new suit for the wedding. Looking sharp, buddy!

Ready for church

Anthony sent me this picture of the girls, that he took before church this morning. I had to work, so he got the kids ready. Kaitlyn did her own hair and he did Natalie's. Bless his heart, he tried, but I had to laugh at Natalie's mohawk. She was sure proud of it, though. She loves it when daddy does her hair!

The kids stayed at Jim and Misty's for the day, and Nolan got to help Jim mow the lawn.

Follow up ultrasound

Kaitlyn had her follow up ultrasound in Bismarck yesterday.  She did really well and was very patient with the process.  She did about talk the leg off of the radiology tech, though.

Natalie and I entertained ourselves with selfies and playing on my phone until she was done.

We ate lunch at Famous Dave's before we left town. Natalie didn't make it far into our meal, though.

She livened up a bit after the food came.

We brought some of the animals from the zoo with us, too!

The ultrasound results were unchanged from her previous scan, which means she has not had any more scaring on her kidneys.  They will do another VCUG in a couple of months to make sure she is no longer having reflux. The urologist wanted to make sure that swelling was completely gone before we attempted it. We are praying that the surgery fixed the issue and she won't have any further kidney damage once she comes off of her antibiotics.

The Armor of God

Talon's class has been learning about the Armor of God in Sunday School. His teacher is really good with balloon modeling. They had a drawing to see who won the suit of armor, and Talon got his name drawn. Pretty cool, Bud!

This was taken before we got married, when Anthony was living in Hillsboro, Oregon.  These are Walt and Rachel's 3 older kids.  Such cuties. How fast they grew up!

At the park

The kids and I went to the park this evening after I got off work. The weather was beautiful, and they had a blast running around and using up some of that pent up energy.
