Talon's first fat lip

Talon got his first fat lip when we went to visit Grandpa and Grandma in August. He was playing with a big rubber ball and decided to lay across it. He then proceeded to roll over the top of the ball head first, smashing his face into the hardwood floor! He cried a little bit, but I think Grandma was more upset than he was. Everything was all better when we gave him a popsicle! He obviously didn't learn his lesson the first time, because he wanted to try it again about a half-hour later.Grandma went and picked some vegetables out of the garden. Talon kept trying to grab the cucumbers so Grandma washed one gave it to him to hold. He promptly started chewing on the end of it and threw a fit if anyone tried to take it from him. He carried that thing around and gnawed on it until it was warm and the end was mushy, but he LOVED it!

Back home with family

Talon and I made a trip back home for my cousin's wedding. It was great to see everyone and Talon was just glad there was food!

The newest member of our family

This is Kira, we call her "Kiki". We got her when she was about 8 weeks old. She is a miniature Schnauzer, and a little black ball of energy! This was Talon's first time in his pool.

It took him a little while to get used to it. He almost looks perplexed like he can't figure out why he's taking a bath, outside, in cold water, with his clothes on!
He liked it a lot better when I got down to play with him in it. He thought it was great that he could splash and get Mommy all wet!

Little Cowboy

Talon got a rocking horse that plays "Home on the Range" and clops along when you squeeze its ear. He wouldn't have anything to do with it for the longest time. This was the first time Daddy got him to sit on it, and he loved it!

Snake River Stampede

We went to the Snake River Stampede with Papa & Granny the week we moved to Idaho. (What can I say, we're rodeo junkies!!) It was an indoor arena and Talon got a little hot and fussy, so we stripped him down to his bare essentials. He loved watching the action after that!

Going Bowling!

On the Friday night before we left for Idaho, we went bowling with my family (Grandpa and Grandma Bauer, Melanie, Lacey, and Mikayla). Talon wanted to participate so bad! He couldn't understand why we wouldn't let him play with the big, colorful bowling balls.

Talon loves music, and wants to play any instrument you let him get his hands on!

Talon's 1st Birthday

We had Talon's first birthday party at Rivercrest Park in Oregon City. Lots of family and friends came to help us celebrate. We had a big BBQ and ate lots of yummy cake. Talon made out like a bandit! He got spoiled with LOTS of toys! Grandma Bauer made the cake- it was adorable!


He LOVED the cake and made a huge mess!

Talon's first 4th of July

We had Anthony's family reunion on the 4th of July this year! Talon got lots of attention from all of his aunts, uncles, and cousins. We went to see Grandma and Grandpa Bauer in the afternoon, and got some more attention (imagine that!!)
