Last night we had a bridal shower for Taneil at the church.

New Dishes

I have wanted these dishes for a really long time, but couldn't justify buying them. So, for Christmas, Anthony was going to get them for me.  I told them I would rather wait until after we moved and were settled in a house, so we didn't have to cart them across the country and risk them getting broken.  Well, we are in our new house, and I was finally able to order them.

PEAK 2015

We took the church youth group to PEAK 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We drove the church vans, so it took us a couple of days to get there, but we had a great time!

One of the vans broke down, so we spent some extra time at IHOP, waiting for it to get fixed.  The guys played 'Ninja' to pass the time.

Others tried to catch up on some sleep

Getting ready to hit the road again after catching a little nap. It was supposed to be a good nights' sleep, but it didn't seem quite long enough.

We hit a storm along the way as we went through Kansas.

We got to eat at Chick-fil-A. We actually ate there a couple of times. It was wonderful! 

 We ran into an old friend, Mandy Holmes.  It was great to get to chat and catch up.

I finally got to try Culver's.

We went to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, before we headed home.  It was a scorcher of a day, but we had a great time!

On Sunday, we went to church at Bro. Wesley Jackson's church in Diggins, Missouri. Their church is beautiful!

What a great trip.  So glad we got to go!

Saying Goodbye

We had Sis. Fatima over for dinner this weekend to say good-bye. Her travel assignment is complete, and she is moving back to Florida to be with her family.  We love this lady, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.  It has been amazing to watch her experience the plan of Salvation, and receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  She has gotten the revelation of the Oneness of God, and is so excited to study the Bible.  She says she wants to come back and visit again, and see the church after the remodel is completed.  We hope she does, because we are really going to miss her!
