Talon's class has been learning about the Armor of God in Sunday School. His teacher is really good with balloon modeling. They had a drawing to see who won the suit of armor, and Talon got his name drawn. Pretty cool, Bud!

Anthony was given these pictures when he went to Minnesota to visit Walt and Rachel.
This picture was taken at a friend's wedding a year after we got married.
This was taken before we got married, when Anthony was living in Hillsboro, Oregon. These are Walt and Rachel's 3 older kids. Such cuties. How fast they grew up!

Walt and some of the kids came from Minnesota to visit for a couple of days. It was so good to see them, and it was nice for the kids to get to play together. We had a BBQ at Anthony's parents' house. We wish they could have stayed a little longer, but they are coming back in a month for Jonathan's wedding, so we will have more time to visit then.
As usual, Jonathan became a jungle gym!

For couples' outing this month, we went to play miniature golf. We had a little BBQ for dinner before we started. It was a blast! Our team didn't do very well, and it took us forever to play, but I think we had the most fun!

We took a trip out the the Sletten farm today. They are harvesting wheat right now, so we rode with them in the combines. The kids really enjoyed it. Actually, we all did!
The combines have AC, but it's still a bit toasty when you are all scrunched in there. Natalie and Tinsley played together on the floor.
Our view from inside the combine
Jim playing in the wheat. (Okay so maybe he was actually unclogging the header)

One thing I absolutely love about North Dakota... the fields of sunflowers! They are absolutely beautiful!
When we came home from Bismarck, we took some of the back roads to go pick up Natalie from the Slettens. We came across fields that were acres and acres of sunflowers. Anthony stopped so I could take some pictures!
