Natalie's Dedication

We had Natalie's dedication yesterday. We are so thankful to all of our family that took the time to come and be a part of our special day!  Walt and Rachel and their family were in town to visit, so Walt preached in the main service, and Papa Starr did the dedication portion of it.  (Beth was so sweet to take pictures for us!)  Natalie was so good throughout the whole service... she even slept a good portion of the time.

All dolled up in her cute little cream dress!
Talon enjoyed sitting with Grandpa through the service.

2 months old

Natalie is already 2 months old!
She's starting to smile, and will just stare into your eyes and listen intently when you talk to her.  She's such a sweetheart, and we are all enjoying her so much!
 She loves her binki!

Summer birthdays

We celebrated Jeremy and Lacey's birthdays last night at my parents' house.  My dad built a nice fire outside in the fire pit, and we had a great time visiting.

Attempted summer photos

I attempted another picture session of all the kids together. I try this periodically to see if I can get just one or two that turn out really good. (For those that haven't tried it, let me just say that it's a bit difficult with 4 kids age 5 and under!)
After over 50 pictures, you can be judge of how well you think it went.  I just keep reminding myself that, with the 19,000+  photos on Flickr that I've uploaded from the past 6 years, my children will never wonder what they looked like growing up- even if I haven't captured the perfect group shots.
Here are a few of the better ones I got.  Let's just say, they get bored really fast.... especially the one on the far left!
This one turned out the best.  The only problem is, I was so busy trying to get them to smile, I almost cut all of them out of the photo and had to crop it.  I got a great shot of the picture above the couch and almost completely missed Natalie in the picture! Oh well.
Just have to say..... I love, love,  LOVE this crazy bunch, I think they're absolutely adorable, and I wouldn't trade them for the world!!!

Curls

My poor child got my hair... straight, fine, thin, and won't hold a curl for nothin'!  She loves to have her hair curled, but it just doesn't hold.  I started putting foam curlers in her hair on Saturday nights so she can have curls on Sunday morning.  She gets so excited and promises me she won't mess them up when she's sleeping.  It's pretty cute!
Hanging out with Uncle Chad
She wore her hair down with curls for church, but the curl started to fall out so I put it up.  She was tickled pink! She asked me about every 15-30 minutes throughout the day, "Mommy, do I still have curls in the back?".  She definitely fits my nickname for her- Girly Girl!
Off to the park for some evening play time...
"Mommy, Mommy, take a picture of my hair!"
